These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when a person accesses or uses the SSAH website and its content.

By accessing or using the website, the user accepts these terms. The website is not directed to a person in a jurisdiction where access, distribution or use would be unlawful or would require SSAH to obtain a registration or licence that it does not hold. A person who does not accept these terms must not use the website.These terms apply only to the website. Clinical and other services are also governed by the applicable intake documents, service agreement, fee schedule, Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and other SSAH policies.

3. Permitted use

Website content belongs to SSAH or its licensors and is provided for lawful personal and consumer use. A user must not knowingly obtain, use, reproduce, scrape, sell, transmit or pass on website information or data for a commercial purpose without SSAH's prior written permission.

4. Related terms and privacy

The SSAH Privacy Policy explains how personal information provided through the website is collected, used, disclosed and protected, including information about website analytics and cookies. Users must provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

5. Accuracy and nature of information

SSAH takes reasonable care when publishing information. Website content may be compiled from several sources, may change without notice and may contain errors or omissions. SSAH does not represent that all content is complete, current, adequate or suitable for every person or purpose. Website content does not constitute an offer, invitation, promise or commitment to provide services, enter a contract or accept a referral. A clinician-client relationship begins only when SSAH expressly accepts the engagement and the required service arrangements are in place.

SSAH may provide links or addresses for convenience and information. Access to an external website is at the user's own risk. SSAH does not control or maintain external sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link does not imply affiliation or endorsement.Where a third party supplies a product or service, the user's purchase or service contract is with that third party unless SSAH expressly states otherwise. The third party's terms also apply.

8. Website availability and security

SSAH takes reasonable steps to keep the website accessible but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. SSAH may suspend the site for routine or emergency maintenance. Users are responsible for using suitable security controls; SSAH does not warrant that the site is free from viruses, defects or other harmful components.

Unless otherwise stated, website material is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights owned by SSAH or its licensors. Material may be downloaded for personal browsing only. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

The website was created in Australia. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and applicable Commonwealth law. Users submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts competent to hear appeals from them.

12. Changes to these terms

SSAH may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be published on the website. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
